Esmith Release Notes
Esmith has been updated with new features and enhancements tailored for jewellery manufacturers. This release improves production tracking, order status visibility, and workshop workflow efficiency.
- The job order status report functionality was previously unavailable in esmith and existed only in esmith pro. This functionality has now been introduced and implemented in esmith. Users can now track the status of job orders by applying filters using:
bag name
job order number
this enhancement improves visibility and tracking of job order progress within the system. The functionality has been tested and verified
- Introduced a fix in material issue print template – c-template1 where the total purity tick option was not functioning correctly. After the fix, enabling the total purity option now displays and prints the total purity value correctly in the print preview and printed output.
- Resolved the issue where the party sales report was displaying a red error for data from previous years. The issue has been fixed, tested, and verified successfully.
- Resolved an issue where the total weight and pure weight values displayed in the manufacturing process did not match the corresponding values in the raw material bag report. The system now ensures consistent weight calculations and reporting across both modules, providing accurate and synchronized data.
- An issue was identified in the trial balance module where the opening trial balance (previous financial year) was incorrectly reflecting the opening stock value
root cause
it was observed that:
* the opening stock ledger was created under the stock-in-hand account group
* an opening balance was also assigned to the same ledger
solution
the issue has been resolved by modifying the accounting process:
* the opening balance of the opening stock ledger has to be removed
* the rate must now be entered in the opening voucher
* the total amount calculated from the opening voucher will be considered as opening stock ( calulation type : average cost )
- Added options in delivery note c-template1 to display item purity and total purity details in the print format. This enables clearer purity information on printed delivery notes
